Hey, nice to see ya!
I am the child of word people, so it's no surprise words have always been my thing.
When I was three I'd leave stories told in flash cards outside my mother's bedroom door. At six my grandfather bought me a typewriter so I could get the words out faster. By the second grade I took to writing book reports on books that only existed in my head. And in the fourth grade, I wrote and my class produced a play ("Which witch is which?" soooo clever). Lots of stories followed. A few short stories were even published.
But I grew up, and had a number of interesting jobs using my words to support my vices of choice. I could say life got in the way, but the reality is I got in my own way. I'm Alice, happily following my curiosity in and out of various rabbit holes. No doubt I always will be, but it's time for me to take the "stuff" from all that wandering and mix it up.

Words have always been my thing. Now, I'm going to be intentional. Point them in a direction. Send them out into the world to do my bidding. See what happens. Because really, that's the whole point, isn't it?
